Disappointing Turnouts

I know a lot of you are disappointed in the poor turnouts lately. Weather is a huge issue and being that we are a Vancouver group this is something that will be an ongoing issue and now that it is summer people are travelling more, so we will probably keep running into issue again and again.

I haven't a problem keeping this site going but if most of you aren't interested in attending the Meetups for whatever reason, let me know. We can keep the group running or we can just end it until we get more members. The more members the better the chances of larger turnouts.

Post your comments or suggestions. We can always start the Meetup.com group again but we will have to find someone comfortable with collecting the monthly fee.

July 16th Meetup

I didn't get enough votes in to help decide on a location for this month's Meetup. I decided that it will be at Derby Reach Park in Langley based on the fact that it was the first location suggestion to come up at a prior Meetup.

July's Meetup Spot - Langley, Richmond or Port Moody

As said before we will move the Meetups every couple of months so we all get a chance to enjoy a short commute to the Meetup spot; with that being said it is time to move and three suggestions have come up.

1. Rocky Point Park in Port Moody
It is fenced with all other doggie amenities.

2. Derby Reach Park in Langley
I haven't heard from Arny if this park is fenced or not; stay tuned.

3. Bottom of No. 3 Road in Richmond
From the info I have from Jim, this isn't a dog park but a great walk that runs alond side the Fraser River.
